Get ready for an electrifying production as the Performing Arts Theatre, University of Ilorin, presents OYIGIYIGI, a story filled with suspense, action, and gripping storytelling!

Alani is tormented every night in his sleep by nightmares of a being he believes to be Iku, the spirit of death. In a bid to escape the looming danger, he seeks help from a native priest who offers him an ancient jewel—a ring—with the condition that he must never take it off.

However, as Alani begins to live his life, finding love in the most unlikely places, he begins to question whether he could truly remain in this bondage or face the consequences of going against the conditions that kept him alive!

The problem with many youths today is that we do not know our roots. The question is “Who are you?”

What time is best for me to arrive at the venue?

It is best you arrive by past 3pm in the afternoon to meet the red-carpet glitz and be warmly welcomed by our able hosts. You will also witness the performances of selected artistes. You have to be there!

What should I wear for the occasion?

Anything beautiful. You are worth it all. For best recommendations, let's go trad since we have a native play in the making. We can't wait to have you glaze our red carpet!

How do I use my purchased online ticket?

Upon purchase, you will get a mail with your ticket details. You only need to show us at the gate.

Do I need to come for both days?

Since the same movie will be premiered on both nights, you can choose to select one of those days (April 22 or 23) based on your availability. You could also decide to come for the first day, and we bet you may just have to return again, and this time, with friends! It's a lovely movie!
